Week 9 initial post
For my data I will be looking more at the patterns, trends, and how the use of the Remind app affects parent involvement. I will look at what ways Remind can be used to increase the attendance of parent teacher conferences, classroom volunteers, and its effectiveness at distributing classroom newsletters and sudden announcements.
I liked Jules idea of writing down a poll of what parents would be interested in using the Remind app and which parents prefer printed copies of announcements, and schedules. I will also be able to use the app itself to see which parents are actively involved in posts uploaded to the app.
I am also hoping to create a bit of a test for parents to see which gets more responses. I will send out a printed copy of a letter that requires a parent signature or permission. I will post the same if not similar document on Remind and see which gets more responses.
