What literature will inform your research?
In order to complete my research project this semester I
need to find websites that have accurate information and help me learn more
about the effect of parent communication apps. During my research this week I
found many resources I may be able to utilize as I complete this assignment.

is important to begin with, how it improves the classroom, and helps to boost

I think parent/guardian communication is so important. I think I depend too much on the idea that parents/guardians have access to district grading platforms for their kids. I sometimes forget that parents don't access them on a regular basis. I suppose that is why we continue to have parent/teacher conferences! Having an app will make it more personal, I suppose. Our system does allow parents to receive updates on their child's progress every week via email or text so if they have a smartphone or computer, they can see communications from teachers. One aspect that I always feel is true, is that most people have access to a smartphone or tablet for communications if they don't have a "regular computer". Now days, with devices being readily available from communications companies like GCI or ATT, most everyone should have a device. But I can't assume that. There are some individuals that don't have a cell phone. Good luck finding out about apps that will work!
